About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the commune of San Michele all’Adige. The local microclimate and marked differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures help produce especially aromatic Gewurztraminer. Bunches are thinned in summer.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand at full phenolic ripeness. At the winery they undergo cold maceration, then fermentation with selected yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine is aged on fine lees for several months, with regular bâtonnage.
Tasting profile
Balanced and harmonious, with a pronounced aromatic character.
