About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the producer’s vineyards in Langhe, at elevations of 370–400 m. The vines are 15 years old and grow in clay-limestone soils.
Grapes
The wine is made from selected grapes.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September at optimal ripeness. They are destemmed and pressed, followed by fermentation in stainless-steel tanks at 25 °C with four to five days of skin contact. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures for six months in stainless-steel tanks.
