About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The five varieties are grown in different vineyards across Abruzzo and Puglia.

Vinification

The grapes are pressed gently. The different varieties undergo pre-fermentation skin contact, then ferment for 25 days in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation takes place in oak barriques. The final blend is assembled just before bottling.

Ageing

12–14 months in oak barriques, where malolactic fermentation also takes place.

Label / history

The name reflects the idea behind the wine: a high-quality wine bringing together the character of five native Italian grape varieties. The first vintage was released in 1999.
