About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow along the Adriatic coast in Abruzzo. The vineyards have a south-eastern exposure, with vines planted in limestone and clay soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at the end of September and sorted before destemming and pressing. The must undergoes cold maceration for two days, followed by fermentation at 20–22 °C for 9–11 days.
Ageing
Depending on the quality of the vintage, 10–20% of the wine is aged in oak barrels; the remainder stays in stainless-steel tanks.
