About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the company’s vineyards in Sicily. The plots lie at 350 m above sea level and have calcareous clay soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested when fully ripe and dried at the winery to concentrate their sugars. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks, with skin maceration lasting 10–12 days.
Ageing
The wine matures in oak barriques for four months.
Label / history
It received a gold medal at the 2023 Frankfurt International Trophy.
