About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the company's vineyards in Puglia, where a favourable climate and red clay soils help the grapes ripen and retain juiciness.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, usually in late August. They are destemmed and macerated for 8–10 days with regular pump-overs, then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures for 4–5 months in American and French oak barriques.
