About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow along the Adriatic coast of Abruzzo, in clay-limestone soils. The vines are trained on the Pergola system.
Vinification
Harvest is by hand. At the winery the grapes are sorted, destemmed and crushed. After 2 days of cold maceration, fermentation runs for 9–11 days at 20–22 °C.
Ageing
Between 10 and 20% of the wine is aged in oak barrels; the rest matures in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting profile
Easy-going and food-friendly.
Vintage notes
In 2023 the wine won a gold medal at the Frankfurt International Trophy and a silver medal at Mundus Vini.
