About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow in the Vigneti Canosini and Tufarello vineyards, owned by Vigneti Del Vulture, which makes the wine for Farnese. The plots lie around the volcanic area of Vulture on soils of tuff, limestone and clay.

Vinification

After sorting, the grapes are destemmed and pressed. The must undergoes maceration and alcoholic fermentation for 15 days, followed by malolactic fermentation.

Ageing

The wine matures for at least six months in stainless-steel tanks and then for three months in French oak barrels.
