About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow exclusively around Zagarolo, on tuff soils at 330 m above sea level. The Mediterranean climate brings mild winters and hot summers, with warm days and cool nights supporting ripening while preserving bright aromas. The vines are tent-trained, with yields controlled at 10,000 kg/ha.
Vinification
Selected bunches are harvested by hand and gently pressed at low temperature. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine remains on its fine lees using the Sur Lie method in the same steel tanks. No wood is used at any stage.
Tasting profile
Elegant and balanced, with bright fruit, clear varietal aromas and a delicate mineral edge. The palate is harmonious, soft and deep, with a distinctive character associated with Zagarolo’s volcanic land.
