About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are in Zagarolo, at around 330 metres above sea level. The climate is Mediterranean, with hot summers and plenty of air movement, which helps the grapes ripen fully while keeping freshness and pure aromas. The soils are volcanic tuff, which gives the wine its minerality and a light salty note.
Grapes
Malvasia Puntinata is a rare variety native to Lazio. Puntinata means "spotted" and refers to the dark dots that appear on the grapes when fully ripe. The variety combines expressive aromas, a soft texture and good acidity.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed at low temperatures. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine spends six months on its lees in stainless steel. Contact with the fine yeast lees gives a smoother, fuller texture while preserving the clean varietal character.
Tasting profile
Fresh and elegant, with a soft texture and delicate floral aromas. Volcanic minerality and a light salty note give a focused, food-friendly style.
Serving and pairing
Suited to seafood and light Italian dishes.
