About this wine
Lucilla is a full-bodied Tuscan red from Castello di Farnetella, the estate associated with Fèlsina. In 2022, the blend is 70% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot. Ripe-cherry flavours and an earthy accent accompany a soft, balanced palate. Grapes are hand-harvested from estate vineyards in Sinalunga and fermented with temperature control. The 2022 wine matures for eight to twelve months in oak vessels of different sizes. It has 13.5% alcohol and is served at 18–20°C.
