About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Merlot and Sangiovese grow in southwest-facing vineyards in Lazio at 300 m above sea level.
Vinification
The two varieties are vinified separately. The must ferments for 12 days at a controlled 25–27 °C, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wines are then blended.
Ageing
The blend matures for 12 months in new oak barrels and a further six months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
Tasting profile
Rich, with firm tannins.
