About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Tenuta Garetto is predominantly planted with old vines, but Rosina is vinified separately from its relatively younger Barbera vines. The fruit comes from Agliano Terme.
Grapes
100% Barbera.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in late September. Maceration lasts 6–7 days in steel tanks.
Ageing
Maturation takes place in steel.
Tasting profile
A Barbera characterized by notable finesse.
Serving and pairing
Pair with cured meats, rich first courses, red meat and piquant cheeses. Cellaring potential is 3 years.
