About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie in the village of Solicchiata, at elevations of up to 750 m. Sand and hardened lava soils combine with the cool conditions of Etna’s northern slopes.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in October. Whole bunches are gently pressed and fermented in stainless-steel tanks for 15–20 days.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for five months.
Tasting profile
Bright, balanced and fresh, with a light, easy-drinking style and pronounced minerality. Herbal and citrus aromas lead to a lively, juicy palate lifted by refreshing acidity.
Serving and pairing
Suitable with appetizers.
