About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The vineyards are located in the commune of Serralunga d'Alba at 260–380 m above sea level. The fruit comes from four historic sites: Costa Bella, Broglio, Sorano and Meriame. Their soils comprise sand, clay and limestone.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-October. Fermentation proceeds slowly for 25 days in cement tanks with native yeasts. The process also includes skin contact and gentle pressing. The wine is bottled without filtration.

Ageing

The wine matures for 18–36 months in large French oak casks.

Tasting profile

Delicate on the surface yet firm and deep at its core, the wine combines natural elegance with balanced tannins and mineral notes on the palate.
