About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo comes from the estate's own vineyards.
Vinification
Fermentation is spontaneous, in stainless steel tanks. Sulfur is kept to a minimum and nothing is added, in line with Viberti's restrained approach to natural winemaking.
Ageing
The wine rests for twelve to fourteen months in large oak casks. The casks are steamed rather than toasted, so the oak influence stays soft and subtle.
Tasting profile
Pure and terroir-driven, with expressive fruit, bright and energetic, and with a Barolo-like purity. Easy-drinking yet complex.
