About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit comes from the “Bure Alto” vineyard.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand at the end of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks for approximately nine days. The wine then undergoes 12–13 days of refermentation on the skins, with frequent daily pump-overs.

Ageing

The wine matures for 18 months in 65 hL Slovenian oak barrels, followed by six months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.

Tasting profile

Rich and generous from the first sip.

Serving and pairing

Pairs with meat dishes, game and mature cheeses.
