About this wine

Style

The estate's flagship, made only in vintages that reach its standard. Powerful and high in alcohol, yet balanced and finely integrated, with sour-cherry freshness and deep forest fruit; with age it turns towards leaves, balsamic and tobacco.

Vinification

The grapes are dried on racks until the end of January, with noble rot encouraged. They are pressed and macerated on their skins for about 20 days, and fermentation with indigenous yeasts runs for around 45 days.

Ageing

Around seven years in large Slavonian oak casks before release, when the family judges the wine ready.

Alcohol: 16.5%.
