About this wine

Grapes

The blend combines Corvina, Rondinella, Corvinone, Oseleta and Croatina from vines averaging 14 years old.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and dried at the winery for three months to concentrate their natural sugars. After destemming, they are vinified and fermented in stainless-steel tanks at 25–26 °C, with 18–20 days of maceration. Malolactic fermentation also takes place in stainless steel.

Ageing

The wine ages for at least 24 months, with 80% in new 225-litre French oak barriques and 20% in 1,900-litre French oak barrels.

Tasting profile

Rich and powerful, with firm structure and good balance.

Label / history

Annual production is approximately 8,000 bottles.
