About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in a hillside vineyard directly behind the Tessari family home. The 30-year-old vines are planted in volcanic soils containing tuff.
Vinification
Harvest usually takes place from late September to early October. Alcoholic fermentation lasts 8–10 days in stainless-steel tanks at approximately 15 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures in steel tanks for six months.
Tasting profile
The nose is intensely fruity. The palate is rich, harmonious and warm, leading to a long finish with spicy notes.
