About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow at 250 metres above sea level in southwest-facing vineyards with poor, sandy soils. Planting density is 5,500 vines per hectare, and the vines average 40–45 years of age.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in October, then destemmed and pressed. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks for 20 days.
Tasting profile
Rich and silky on the palate, with a long, spicy finish.
