About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The old vines grow in Marche, on Italy’s eastern coast. Adriatic Sea breezes influence the grapes, while the gravelly soils impart a mineral character.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in the second half of August to preserve freshness and natural acidity. Brief skin contact is followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature, retaining a crisp character and precise aromas.
Ageing
The wine rests for four months in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting profile
Soft golden highlights appear in the glass. The wine is elegant, with precise aromas, a crisp character, fine acidity and a clean, clear taste.
Serving and pairing
Pair with oysters, fish tartare, seafood pasta or the local olive all’Ascolana. Its acidity complements fish and lightens creamy sauces.
Label / history
The name “Aurato” derives from the Latin auratus, meaning “golden,” reflected in the wine’s soft golden highlights.
