About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie in the Castelli di Jesi area, 100 m above sea level. The soils are medium-textured, with clay around the edges, and the coast's mild climate allows the Verdicchio to reach ideal ripeness.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in mid-October, picked early in the morning and chilled immediately to 5 °C before gentle pressing. The must ferments in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures.
Ageing
The wine ages briefly in stainless steel tanks, the same vessels used for fermentation.
Tasting profile
Elegant, fresh and lively yet full-flavoured. Aromas show the full range of Verdicchio, and the fruit keeps its natural juiciness. The wine has the cool freshness typical of the Marche.
Serving and pairing
Suited to an aperitif or a light Mediterranean dinner.
Label / history
The estate is run by the De Angelis family.
