About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from Il Palazzone’s estate vineyards in Montalcino.
Grapes
The wine is made from Sangiovese Grosso, also referred to as Brunello.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand into small crates during the first week of October. Skin maceration takes place at a controlled temperature of 28–30 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures for approximately four years in large Slavonian oak casks.
