History
L'Antica Quercia was founded in the early 1970s with 25 hectares of vineyards concentrated in a single area, something very rare in Conegliano-Valdobbiadene at the time.
1997–2002: First Renovation
The company began its first major renovation in 1997, constructing new buildings and gradually updating its grape-growing methods. A modern underground drip-irrigation system was installed during this period, and the renovation work was completed in 2002.
2003: Olive Grove
In 2003 the estate planted 500 olive trees, and now uses their fruit to make olive oil.
2007: Vineyard Transformation and Organic Conversion
A transformation of the entire vineyard, located near the foothills of the Alps, began in 2007. From that year, L'Antica Quercia—Italian for "The Old Oak"—has followed organic farming practices. Today all of its products are certified by ICEA, the Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification.
