Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the Vigna Chiesa vineyards in Monforte and Castagni in La Morra.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at different stages of ripeness, ranging from fully ripe to slightly green; the latter are traditionally used for sparkling wines. Each variety is fermented separately according to its needs before blending.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for five months.
