About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie on Collio's limestone- and clay-rich soils. The vines develop deep roots, which support grapes with rich flavours and expressive aromas.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, destemmed and gently pressed. They macerate for four days in open Slavonian oak vats before fermenting in barriques, where malolactic fermentation also takes place.
Ageing
The wine matures for 11 months in barriques, followed by 12 months in stainless-steel tanks and a further 12 months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Complex, bright and lively, with rich flavours, expressive aromas and a sunlit warmth.
