About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit was hand-harvested from vines aged between 15 and 45 years.
Vinification
The grapes were destemmed and remained in contact with their skins for four days. Fermentation took place in barriques and tonneaux, where the wine also underwent malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matured for 11 months in oak barrels, followed by one year in stainless-steel tanks and 12 months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Rich and expressive, with freshness balanced by depth. The 2007 is beginning to show maturity while retaining considerable potential for further development.
Vintage notes
The 2007 growing season featured a warm summer, sufficient rainfall and moderate temperatures. These conditions enabled even ripening and produced fruit with high acidity and pronounced aromas.
