About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from a 5.5 ha vineyard in Tuscany with clay-limestone soils. The vines average 60 years of age and are cultivated organically.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness and pressed directly. Spontaneous fermentation takes place on the skins with native yeasts in stainless-steel vats and old barriques. The cellar follows organic practices with minimal intervention. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration, and no sulfites are added.
Ageing
The wine matures in old oak barrels.
Label / history
The wine is produced by Domaine de' Cocci Rotti, which is owned by the La Ginestra cooperative.
