About this wine
Vineyard and terroir

Ageing
The wine rests for seven months in stainless steel.
Tasting profile
Fresh, balanced and mineral.
Label / history
La Scolca was founded in 1919 by Giambattista Parodi, great-grandfather of the current owner. The 50 ha estate occupies high ground in the Ligurian Apennines. Parodi’s son Alfredo planted its first vineyard shortly before the Second World War, initially to make simple wines for the family. Third-generation Vittorio Soldati later focused production on white wine and worked to determine suitable yields and ripeness for Cortese. The estate released its first bottle of Gavi in 1950.
