About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Produced at Le Bocce in Panzano in Chianti, close to the boundary between the provinces of Florence and Siena. The estate occupies a mid-hill position. Marl, silt and clay form permeable, nutrient-bearing soils. Summer brings a marked difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures, while gentler winter variations support phenolic ripening.
Grapes
100% Sangiovese.
Technical data
Chianti Classico DOCG. The grapes are harvested in the second half of October. Alcohol is 13.5% vol.
Tasting profile
Aromatic intensity is a defining feature. The palate combines substantial consistency with balance, drinkability and an approachable character. The broader Le Bocce style emphasizes longevity, gentle tannins, softness and freshness.
