About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit grows on the eastern slopes of Montalcino, in clay-limestone soils and a mild climate.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo natural fermentation in open oak vats for 20–25 days, with active and passive extraction used alternately.
Ageing
The wine matures for 42 months: 24 months in large barrels followed by 18 months in cement vats.
Tasting profile
Rich, complex and refined, with deep aromas and a balanced structure. The wine is harmonious and expressive.

The 2019 growing season was calm and even.
