About this wine
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand from mid-September. Each variety is vinified separately, with maceration on the lees in wooden vessels, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The separate wines mature for 16–18 months in new barrels. After blending, the wine rests for a further five months in large barrels, followed by two years in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
Tasting profile
The wine is appealing when young, with charm and richness that endure for many years.
