About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the hills of Veneto.
Grapes
The blend rests on three native red varieties. Corvina brings lively acidity and cherry notes and is widely used in blends to give depth. Rondinella contributes herbal notes, colour and body, and highlights Corvina's gentle spice. Molinara adds tannins and fresh acidity; by law it may make up no more than 20% of the blend.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed. Skin contact is short, lasting at least 16 hours. Fermentation follows at a controlled temperature of 15–16 °C.
Ageing
The wine is aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Label / history
Bottling takes place on a separate modern line. Before bottling the wine is chilled to eliminate microbes. The bottles are treated with hot steam and rinsed thoroughly with sterilised water, then filled with cold, filtered wine. They are sealed with modern technology that leaves no oxygen under the cork, so the wine keeps its individual character over time. Lenotti uses modern equipment for winemaking, storage and bottling, aiming to improve quality while preserving the authentic character of its wines. The winery's modern cellars, used for its red wines, hold 25 thousand hectolitres.
