About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Rocca di Neto and Casabona in Calabria. The clayey, calcareous vineyards are trained to spurred cordon at 5,000 vines per hectare. Yield is 90 quintals of grapes and 65 hectolitres of wine per hectare.
Grapes
100% Greco Bianco.
Vinification
Harvest takes place around the middle of September; the technical sheet specifies the second ten-day period of the month. The grapes are gently pressed and vinified in stainless steel.
Ageing
The wine matures in stainless steel and then rests briefly in bottle for several months before release.
Tasting profile
Fresh, savoury and fruit-driven, with floral notes. Its profile also reflects the yellow-fruit and exotic-fruit character associated with Greco Bianco.
Serving and pairing
Best enjoyed young, within one to two years.
