About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit is grown at Azienda Rosaneti, in the small village of Rocca di Neto in Casabona, on clay-limestone soils. Yields are kept low. The surrounding area has natural slopes, proximity to the sea, protection from the Sila Mountains and marked differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested in early October and fermented in stainless-steel vats, followed by 15 days of maceration.

Ageing

The wine rests on its lees for 16 months in French Allier oak barrels, followed by a further six months in bottle.

Tasting profile

Rich and balanced, with aromas of spice and red fruit.
