About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The wine reflects the diverse terroirs of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.

Vinification

The grapes are destemmed with care, then fermented with skin maceration in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.

Ageing

The wine ages in both stainless steel tanks and small French oak barrels, which give it a deeper texture and subtle spicy, woody notes. A final period of ageing in bottle adds harmony and character.

Tasting profile

Expressive and well balanced, with a smooth texture and juicy fruit. The nose is distinctive, with cherry, blackcurrant and wild berries, complemented by hints of spice. Elegant spicy notes run through the palate. Rich yet elegant.

Serving and pairing

Pairs with grilled meat, pasta with rich sauces, duck dishes, aged cheeses and Italian cuisine.
