About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the commune of Pocapaglia, where Nebbiolo develops a particularly expressive and aromatic profile.
Vinification
Maceration lasts 12–15 days, extracting structure, colour and the grape's distinctive character gently, without making the wine overly firm.
Ageing
The wine ages in concrete vats with no oak, which preserves the pure fruit profile and highlights its natural freshness. A further 3 months in bottle helps the flavours come together into a more balanced whole.
Tasting profile
Elegant and delicate, in the classic Piedmontese Nebbiolo style but in a more open and approachable form. The nose combines red berries and rosehip with subtle notes of dried rose. The palate is balanced and rounded, with lively acidity, refined tannins and a long finish.
Serving and pairing
Food-friendly. Suggested with pasta with meat sauce, roast poultry and aged cheeses.
