About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the estate’s vineyards in the commune of Treiso, an area associated with a firmer, more linear style of Barbaresco. The terroir contributes minerality and complexity.
Vinification
The grapes undergo a 25-day maceration to develop structure and aromatic depth.
Ageing
The wine ages in large Slavonian oak casks, which soften the tannins while preserving its fruit character and sense of terroir. It then rests in bottle for six months, developing further layers of aroma.
Tasting profile
Elegant and structured, with rich red-berry notes, floral hints, minerality, complexity and firm tannic depth.
Serving and pairing
Pair with traditional Piedmontese meat and truffle dishes.
