About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from old vines in the Giacone vineyards in the commune of Treiso. The soils are limestone, contributing concentration and elegance.
Vinification
The wine undergoes a long fermentation and maceration in concrete vats, developing the structure and depth of the Nebbiolo.
Ageing
Ageing in large Austrian oak casks softens the tannins while preserving the fruit character and sense of place. The wine then matures in bottle for 12 months.
Tasting profile
Rich, refined and layered, with ripe plum and floral notes. The wine combines elegance with a firm tannic structure.
