About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie in three of the five areas of Valpolicella Classico: San Pietro in Cariano, Negrar and Marano di Valpolicella.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-October, gently crushed and macerated on their skins before fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine ages for 12 months in 100-hectolitre stainless steel tanks and 200-hectolitre concrete tanks. After bottling, it matures further for an unspecified period in the winery’s cellars.
