About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow in a hilltop vineyard in Marano, in the heart of Valpolicella Classico. The site receives sunlight throughout the day.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested and selected by hand, then dried for an average of three months. After gentle crushing, they undergo skin maceration and a slow fermentation in stainless-steel tanks lasting 40–60 days.

Ageing

The wine ages in French barriques and tonneaux for approximately 18 months, followed by further ageing in stainless-steel tanks. It then matures in bottle for another 6–12 months.

Tasting profile

Complex, concentrated and aromatic.

Serving and pairing

Allow the wine to breathe for one hour before serving.

Label / history

“Postera” means in the local dialect that the vineyard is exposed to the sun throughout the day.
