Vineyard and terroir
The Pinot Nero grows on steep, well-drained slopes with mineral-rich soils in the Langhe hills of Piedmont.
Vinification
Carefully selected fruit undergoes traditional fermentation at a controlled temperature, to preserve the pure varietal character of the grape.
Ageing
The wine is partly aged in oak barrels, which give structure and softness while highlighting rather than masking the qualities of the terroir.
Tasting profile
Combines the natural freshness of Pinot Nero with depth of character and a clear sense of its Piedmontese landscape.
Label / history
"Maravija" means "amazing" in the Piedmontese dialect.
