About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on the hills of Langhe and Roero, on ancient marine soils of clay, limestone, sand and silt. These soils give the wine depth and mineral nuances.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine ages for 6 to 12 months in large wooden barrels. This softens the tannins and makes the palate rounder and more complex, while preserving Nebbiolo's distinctive structure.
Tasting profile
Expressive, with red fruit and spice alongside the characteristic tannin structure of Nebbiolo. The palate shows cherry, dried berries, licorice and subtle earthy tones. The texture is velvety and the finish long, giving a balanced wine with good potential to develop over time.
