About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes originate at Campolucci, the estate property on the eastern slopes of the Chianti hills at approximately 250 m above sea level. Quality selection is performed both in the vineyard and again in the cellar.
Grapes
50% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet and 25% Merlot.
Vinification
Selected grapes are destemmed and gently crushed before red-wine fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures for approximately 18–20 months in wood, followed by 12 months in bottle.
