About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow on the volcanic terraced slopes of Pantelleria. Vineyard work is kept to a minimum, without chemical, physical or mechanical treatments.

Grapes

The wine is made exclusively from a local grape variety cultivated in Marco De Bartoli’s vineyards.

Vinification

The grapes are hand-harvested into small baskets, and each bunch is selected by hand. After pressing, the juice settles naturally before skin maceration and spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in old barrels and clay amphorae. Malolactic fermentation follows. The wine is bottled without filtration or added sulfites.

Ageing

The wine rests on its lees for at least 10 months.

Serving and pairing

Allow the wine to breathe for 15–30 minutes in the glass or a decanter before serving.

Label / history

The name “Integer” comes from the Latin word integer, meaning “whole.”
