About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow on north-facing hillsides in the Kúfura area of Pantelleria, where the first vines were planted in 1957.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand in September, then destemmed and gently pressed. They undergo one day of cold maceration, after which the must settles for 48 hours at low temperature. Alcoholic fermentation uses natural yeasts in temperature-controlled 500 L steel vats.

Ageing

The wine ages for nine months in stainless-steel tanks.

Serving and pairing

Allow the wine to breathe for 15–30 minutes before serving.
