About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow near the sea in Furore, on historic terraces with dolomite-limestone soils.
Grapes
A blend of the local varieties Ginestra, Ripolo and Fenile, all typical of the Amalfi Coast.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, slightly overripe, in the final days of October. Fermentation lasts 90 days and takes place in barriques.
Ageing
The wine ages on its lees in barriques.
Tasting profile
The nose combines yellow fruit, spices and fragrant herbs with warm, rounded notes of ginger and vanilla from oak ageing. The palate is savoury and well balanced, with refreshing acidity, an oily texture and enveloping creaminess. The wine is intense, rich and elegant.
