About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from coastal terraces at 200–550 m, on dolomitic limestone soils.
Grapes
The blend comprises Fenile (30%), Ginestra (30%) and Ripoli (40%).
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand during the final ten days of October, then sorted, crushed and gently pressed. After static cold settling, fermentation takes place in oak barrels with selected yeasts at a controlled 12 °C for three months.
Ageing
The wine matures for six months in oak barrels, followed by one year in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
