Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented gently at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine rests for 4 months on fine lees in stainless steel tanks, which softens the tannins and adds a velvety texture.

The wine is named for Sofia, daughter of Serena and Marco and a fifth-generation member of the Marrone winemaking family.
